Pour a cup of bleach usually one cup for every gallon into the tank and scrub the sides to get rid of the mold in the tank.
Bleach is corrosive and could affect the plumbing parts in the tank so it is better to use vinegar.
Sprinkle baking soda inside the bowl and make sure to apply some to the underside of the rim.
But keep in mind it is a toxic chemical product and should be used as a last result to stop moldy toilets.

The procedure for cleaning toilet mold with vinegar is similar to the bleach method but since vinegar is not as harsh as bleach it does not need to be mixed with any water.
Begin by adding 1 cup of a vinegar to the toilet bowl and 1 cup into the tank.
A word of caution never use bleach to clean mold.
If you see a noticeable difference every month just add a few squirts of the toilet bowl cleaner.
Flush a few times scrubbing inside of the tank if needed.
